Her head shakes and her back legs are very wobbly but she is a very lively and affectionate young cat. Her condition is not likely to worsen; it may improve a little with time; it should not lead to further health problems and she is expected to have a fairly normal life span. As her balance is affected by her condition we feel that an indoor home with controlled access to a secure garden would be ideal. Our ideal home for her would be with someone who is at home a lot as she likes to have company. She is happy with other cats but controlled access to the outside could be a problem.  We do not think she would not be suitable for a family with young children.

Bonnie & Clyde - are a pair of 9 year old black cats. They are very affectionate and love company.  Clyde was in poor health when he arrived and has needed veterinary treatment but should be ready to be rehomed by the end of March.

Tom – was a stray from Reading. He is a big black cat, a little battle scarred from living on the streets but very friendly. He has been bloodtested for FIV/FeLV and neutered and is now ready for a new home. As he has spent time fighting other cats for food he might not settle very well with other cats although he doesn't seem to mind the other cats he can see from his cat house. Tom loves being stroked and made a fuss of.

Nicholas - is a three legged black cat.  He had to have a leg amputated following an accident with a car and his owners asked TVAW to take him for rehoming. This was some time ago and he is fully recovered from the operation. He was rehomed with several other cats but it has become apparent that he needs a home without other cats. He has therefore come back into our care. Nicholas is a very friendly cat with character! He loves to be picked up and cuddled!

Smudge -  is a 6 year old white and black cat. She is shy of strangers and would be frightened of young children but is very friendly once she knows you. Smudge has lived with a dog. A quiet cat who would be ideal as a companion.

Tims – is a very friendly black and white male, 5 years old, who moved out of his home when a baby came along. He is not used to children or living with other animals.

Marmite – is a black, female, cat about 6 years old. She probably needs a quiet home without children or other animals.

Socks – is a very friendly longhaired black and white cat, about 8 years old, who was left behind when his owner moved away. He has lived with another cat but would probably be best rehomed as a single cat.

Tinker – is a rather timid ginger cat, about 7 years old. He had been a stray for a long time before coming into our care and needs a quiet home without children. Tinker was rehomed but sadly had to be returned due to the worsening of the new owner's asthma. This was a shame because he had settled into his new home very well. Once more, Tinker is homeless!
